Money back for bad job for Highlights in my hair that I can't even see?

I went today to a new Hair salon that I discovered and wanted to change my medium blonde hair into a more non-boring look. I told her I wanted to have some brown highlights with some bleach blonde highlights mixed up... Okay, she acted like she knows exactly what I wanted. I told her, I didn't wanted the brown "too dark" since I didn't wanted to be more brunett then blonde.

She did not said a word and just threw some colour on my hair.

The results? I did not see any difference at all! She gave me the mirror and pushed my hair onto my scalp so I could see the small difference but how stupid I was - I did not say anything! I know.. I should of but I just payed and left.

After hearing now from everybody that there is no difference from before and I just feel terrible about how I waisted my money for nothing I decided to call her tomorrow and see if she could return my money... But I'm really not sure what I should tell her? Can anybody give me an good advice? Without coming of rude?

Depending on the salon owner she probably will not return your money....BUT if you explain what you wanted and didn't get and how unhappy you are she should rehighlight your hair for free. Is the problem that there isnt enought blond? If so tell her that and you should ALWAYS bring a picture. That really helps the stylist and of course you too. You are more likely to get exactly what you want. Good luck!

That happend to me once! I have a dirty blonde head and got like really really dirty blonde highlights! I told the lady I needed blonde hightlights! Well what I did was I went back inside a day l8ter and she redid them 4 me. Good luck!

I think you should go see the manager about your hair.Show her a recent photo of your hair and then tell her what you wanted and that you want your money back or that they should do what you wanted and tell her that you were scared to tell the hair dresser.

I think they should give you your money back if they don't fix your hair.

SOMETHIN LIKE THAT HAPPEND TO ME BUT THE HIGHLIGHTS WERE TO NOTICEABLE I FIXED IT MY SELF BUT U SHOULD GO BACK AND TELL HER THAT U ARENT HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS BECAUSE U WANTED THEM TO BE A LITTLE MORE NOTICEABLE TRY TO BE REAL NICE AND HOPEFULLY SHELL FIX IT

sometimes u have to be rude to get the job done u need to speek with the manager first thing in the morning if u can remember the girls name thats even better, but just explain that you dont like it and that there is no differece it just may be simple human mistake, like she didnt mix the color right, but as far as the bleach goes she may have not mixed it with the correct volume needed for lifting the color out, and then again she might not have know what she was doing but the best thing is to talk to the manager or even go in there to show them

call and tell them that once took a good look at your hair at home you didnt really notice any change. That you had told them you wanted light highlights...im sure you'll be able to work something out. GOOD LUCK
