How can I get wavy hair?

What is the best way for me to get wavy hair without using anything like a curling iron or curlers? I have thick, straight, medium-length hair.

for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

you could also get a perm, but i dont recommend it.

and you could krimp your hair, but that eventually causes damage, you need a krimper, and its time consuming.....

Like beachy hair? Mist Bumble + Bumble Beach Hair on damp hair. Twist in little sections like little cinnamon buns all over the head. Maybe 6-8 depending on how thick hair is. Secure with bobby pins. Let dry completely- using a blow dryer or just air drying. Carefully unpin and gently shake up side down. Wavy, sexy beach hair.
