Should i go dark brown hair?

My real hair color is a medium brown hair color and i have highlights that are grown out that are a lighter golden brownish color. But i feel like getting rid of it and going to dark brown. i have hazel eyes, do you think it would look good on me? and if yes...do you know any "at home" coloring products that are good? thanks! :)

Go back to ur natural color, buy a medium brown, it will grab a little dark and be closer to dark brown, if you put dark brown on, it will be very dark almost black, color tends to go a shade darker, make sure whatever u use, its semi permanent no need for permanent, permanent lifts and deposits since u are going darker, u only need to deposit color, semi and demi colors are not damaging to the hair, make sure u get a neutral or natural base, no ash, gold or red base.

If you want to. LOL! It's all about your preference. I'm crazy with my hair and I color it whenever I feel like it. If you can see yourself with dark brown hair...go for it. It's nothing you can't fix. Um, if you're gonna dye your hair...use anything by Lady Clairol.

if i were you i wouldn't do that. i highlighted my hair a year ago(when i wanted to kill it) and now my hair is starting to thin, im not even 20 yet. my thick full hair is now normal thickness and i miss my black hair. no one else had hair as black as mine. i regret ever doing that and now my hair is turning an extremely common dark brown(which i was so happy at first but then bummed) i had bleached it at a salon, for my birthday and now my roots are way overgrown and i like how they look on me, but i might not get them again. now im trying to let my natural "virgin" hair grow in and then see how it looks on me and if i dont like it i will highlight it again. maybe re-think about coloring your hair, you never know when you may fall in love with the natural haircolor you already have.

I have hazel eyes too and naturally dark brown hair. For awhile there I was getting highlights put in it too but whenever they started to grow out it looked horrible! I was tired of the constant maintenance (not to mention that it cost me an arm and a leg!) so I had my colorist just put me back to dark brown all over. I am so much more happy with it!

I also wouldn't use any at home products. They have a tendency to really dry out your hair, which will cause breakage, and on dark hair there's always the possibility that the lighter areas of your hair will go orange!

Go to a beauty supply store,like Sally's beauty supply and get a demi hair color ,it will fade,but so does permanent hair color. The demi will only deposit color,if you use a permanent color it will lighten and deposit color at the same time, you will get more red in your hair if you use a permanent color. You can freshen your color up more often if you use the demi color because it doesn't damage the hair like permanent color does. Good luck in what ever you choose.
