Half up half down? Like pull the top half back and tie and leave the rest hanging at your shoulders.

I would definetly try a bunch of different things before the big day. My favorite though is curling ringlets and pinning it up everywhere, with a few curls down. But buy a bridal magazine and take it to your stlyist. She should try a few different ones on you first and take some pictures.

A hairstyle that has your hair pulled away from your face so you can show off your facial features. something like a low bun with side swiped bangs with pinned curls as the bun. had it for my own wedding and loved it. it was so easy and quick to have done and it lasted all night. did not move once the entire night.
